The Indian film Kantara has now successfully completed its run of seven weeks at the box office. It recorded yet another weekly record to its name, surpassing the Rs. 11 crores earned by Baahubali 2 with its record-breaking earnings of more than Rs. 24 crore in its seventh week of release. Beginning with the sixth week of its release, the movie has established itself as the owner of three weekly records.

The movie has made somewhere around Rs. 350 crores (or millions of dollars) at the box office in India. It has earned an additional $4 million (Rs. 33 crores) overseas, bringing its total earnings to Rs. 377 crores around the globe.

The Hindi version of the movie is currently bringing in the majority of the film’s revenue, with North India bringing in a total of Rs. 11.25 crores during the previous week. The amount in Northern India is currently at Rs. 93.50 crores and is expected to go beyond the three-digit level very soon.
